Sugar Ridge Resort, Jolly Harbour

Staying at the resort was a delightful experience overall. The rooms at the top of the resort offer convenience with a splash pool and a street view, perfect for a relaxing time. The service, though exceptional at times, had a small hiccup in communication. The location is superb with stunning views and easy access to the beach, but the dining options were a bit lacking at times. The facilities were well-equipped and added to the comfort of the stay.

The hotel is nestled in the green hillside along Antigua's western coastline, centrally located in Jolly Harbour and close to various beaches and dining spots. The service, provided by a friendly and diligent team, showcases a delightful departure from the usual relaxed island pace. Dining options, although not speedy, offer freshly prepared dishes albeit lacking in excitement. The facilities offer a serene upper and lower pool, but the quicker shuttle service to the rooms could enhance guests' experience.

The hotel offers lovely, clean rooms with great AC, but could benefit from an upgrade. At a discounted rate this week, it's a steal! The staff is very helpful and courteous, acting like our personal concierge all the way. The location is superb, perched on top of a hill with breathtaking views and excellent dining options. The dining experience offers plenty of choices and a nice a la carte selection. The facilities are well-maintained and offer everything we needed.

The hotel offers clean and airy rooms with a spacious shower area, set in separate buildings on a hill. My room was a good size, very clean, and featured a great balcony, although it wasn't as described in the photo. The staff, while helpful and friendly, seemed to have a challenging job. My stay at the hotel was great! The rooms are large and fabulous, but very basic and getting old. The service is one of the best on the island, with helpful and friendly staff who are excellent resources for activities and recommendations. The location is fantastic, close to the main shop, beaches, and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy the Caribbean and some 'me time'. However, it's not very close to the beach and lacks evening entertainment. The dining experience varied from indifferent to great, depending on where you ate.

I stayed in room #50, just a few minutes walk from the main lobby and Sugar Club eating area, which provided more privacy but required internal transport to access amenities. The room was spacious, clean, and well set up, featuring a very comfortable bed with a full mosquito net and offering the best views of the harbor. However, the distance to amenities was a downside that made us feel somewhat isolated.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had a perfect view of the bay, complete with comfortable large beds surrounded by mosquito netting.
